Lean on Us

We’ve all heard that protein is beneficial to support and maintain lean muscle, but did you know that protein also takes our bodies longer to digest than fats or carbohydrates! Which means, after consuming a healthy amount of protein, you should feel full longer. This helps to control your hunger and reduce the urge for less-healthy foods! Most diets and meal plans are based around consuming healthy amounts of macronutrients (or macros) that include carbohydrates, fats, and proteins.

Every item of food you eat contains some combination of these macronutrients and they provide the calories and nourishment necessary for our bodies to function. The right healthy ratio differs from person-to-person depending on goals and circumstances, but if you’ve ever tried tracking your food consumption with an app on your phone or a physical food journal, you may be familiar with how difficult it can be to add in an adequate amount of protein. Wouldn’t it be great if there was a quick, satisfying way to add more protein into your day?

Here at Plexus®, we understand that a healthy you starts from the inside! Our focus has been to develop and offer a variety of products geared around gut health, weight management, and nutrition. This year we were excited to release a new family of meal replacement shakes that will take weight management and nutrition to a whole other level!
